Information clause

1. The controller of your personal data is the University of Rzeszow with its registered office at Al. Tadeusza Rejtana 16C, 35-959 Rzeszow, represented by the Rector.
2. The Administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at the following e-mail address: iod@ur.edu.pl
3. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes: conducting the admissions process, verifying compliance with admission requirements, maintaining recruitment-related documentation, fulfilling legal obligations, and fulfilling archiving and statistical obligations. The basis for personal data processing is: Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c of the GDPR, Article 6, paragraph 1, letter e of the GDPR, in conjunction with the Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and implementing acts issued pursuant to this Act.
4. The recipients of your personal data will be: only entities authorized to obtain personal data under the law, persons authorized by the Controller to process data as part of their official duties, entities to which the Controller commissions the performance of activities that require data processing (processors).
5. Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to conduct the recruitment process, in accordance with the applicable recruitment schedule. In the case of individuals not accepted for studies, for six months from the end of the recruitment process, and in the case of individuals accepted for studies, for the period specified in the regulations regarding the course of studies and documentation archiving.
6. Your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making or profiling.
7. You have the right to access the content of your data and to rectify it, limit its processing, as well as the right to object to the processing of your data – in cases provided for by law, the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
8. Providing personal data required by law is mandatory and necessary to participate in the recruitment process. Failure to provide the required data will result in inability to participate in the recruitment process.
