Pursuant to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (OJ EU L 119 of 04.05.2016), we hereby inform you that:

3. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of conducting the recruitment procedure for studies and for the needs of studies at the University of Rzeszów, i.e. the implementation of the educational process, documentation of the course of studies, performance by the Controller of informational, archival and statistical obligations arising from the Act of 27 July 2005 – Law on Higher Education, as well as for monitoring professional careers after completion of studies – based on Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (e) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR);
4. Your personal data may also be processed for the purpose of:
   • organisation of events, conferences, competitions, promotions, surveys,
   • conducting video surveillance,
   on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) and (f) of the GDPR;
5. The recipients of your personal data will be:
   • only entities authorised to obtain personal data under legal provisions,
   • persons authorised by the Controller to process data in the performance of their official duties,
   • entities to which the Controller entrusts activities involving the necessity of data processing (processors);
6. Your personal data will be stored:
   • in the case of persons not admitted to studies – for 6 months from the date of completion of recruitment,
   • in the case of persons admitted to studies – for the period necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes or until the withdrawal of consent, whereby personal data contained in the student’s personal file will be stored for a period of 50 years;
7. You have the right to access your data and to request their rectification, deletion or restriction of processing, as well as the right to object, to request cessation of processing and to data portability. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, however, withdrawal of consent for the processing and use of data for the purposes of studies, i.e. implementation of the educational process and monitoring its course, is equivalent to withdrawal from studies;
8. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority;
9. Providing data required by the Law on Higher Education is obligatory. In other respects, providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. Failure to provide such data may result in the inability to achieve those purposes;
10. The data provided by you will not be processed in an automated manner and will not be subject to profiling;
11. The Controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country or an international organisation.
